Taste “Seki Aji/Seki Saba,”
now widely recognized as Oita’s specialty.

"Seki Aji" and "Seki Saba" horse mackerel and common mackerel, respectively, are caught by single-hook fishing in the waters of the Bungo Channel where the waters of the Pacific Ocean and the Inland Sea converge dynamically. Seki Saba and Seki Aji are widely renowned for their premium standard and high quality. The season for "Seki Aji" runs from July till November. In the early autumn, "Seki Saba" reaches its peak of tenderness.
